Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some answers to questions many people have.
Where do these events take place?
What is your availability?
We are available Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 7 pm. We can deliver or host a party within about 35 miles of Eugene. Farther than that may require an additional mileage charge.
How does a hosted event work?
Your host will arrive 30 minute before the scheduled start of your event. This time will be used to set up the playing area and ensure all participants have a signed waiver. Blasters, safety eyewear, darts, and team color markers will be handed out in exchange for signed waivers. At the scheduled start time, all players will gather for a safety and rules briefing. After a brief explanation of specific game mechanics, the nerf war will start! Your host will run as many games as time allows for the next 90 minutes. After that time, your host will gather and pack up all the equipment.
How much space is needed?
This is partially dependent on the number of players, but at least a 50’x50′ area is recommended. Larger groups may require larger areas.
How many players can play?
What ages are recommended?
Our standard blasters can be operated by children as young as 6. If your child is younger but still wants to participate, some assistance from a parent or older child may be required.
What is your cancellation policy?
Parties may be canceled any time, however the $50 deposit is non-refundable. If a scheduled event is canceled due to inclement weather, a full refund, including the deposit, will be offered. A free rescheduling due to weather is also an option, depending on availability. If an event already in progress has to be ended early due to inclement weather, a partial refund may also be offered.
What are your safety policies?
Protective eyewear must be worn at all times in the playing area. No exceptions! All participants will attend the pre-game safety and rules briefing. People exhibiting unsafe behavior will be given a warning. Multiple warnings may result in removal from gameplay, either for the duration of the game, or the remainder of the event. No refunds will be offered in this instance.
Can I bring my own dart blaster?
Absolutely yes! However, all blasters will be inspected by the host to ensure they are safe for play. Some modern blasters available at large retailers are not suitable for all ages, and might not be allowed during a hosted event for safety reasons.
What game types happen during a hosted event?
Your host can run such games as Capture Points, Carpe Sphaerum, 3:15, HvZ, and other simple yet fantastically fun options! Don’t know what those are? That’s ok, all our games follow the guideline that the rules must be able to be explained to a 5 year old in 5 minutes. This cuts down on the time needed to explain rules so everyone can spend more time playing!
How far away will you deliver?
The delivery options on our booking page cover up to 35 miles from the 97408 zip code. For distances farther than that, additional mileage rates may apply.
